Rectal Ozone Therapy

Rectal ozone therapy is both anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial. The ozonator machine takes room oxygen (O2) and creates an unstable molecule (O3) that will bind with free-radicals (O1) when there is inflammation in the intestine, like in Crohn's disease, Ulcerative Colitis and microscopic colitis. Rectal ozone therapy takes about 20 minutes. It is a therapy that you administer on yourself in the clinic. Most patients tolerate it well with improvement in symptoms starting about 24 hours after you administer the treatment.
